According to the biblical instruction, the Feast of Tabernacles is kept in the fall of the year and is synonymous with early fall agricultural harvest and the Jewish festival also called Succos. The Jewish and the Christian observance of this series of holy days is based upon the same biblical text but are observed differently because of the difference in the belief and acceptance of Jesus Christ as the messiah.
